This suite, in addition to the bright colors that characterize it, honors one of the oldest districts of the Palio of Siena: the Dragon.
The mythological animal that represents it has different origins, some claim that it may derive from the coat of arms of the Borghesi, while others believe that it has instead taken from that of the family of Santa Caterina, patroness of the district.
